Product Update

Production: August 14, 2024​

This Product Update provides a summary of changes and enhancements to the existing application that impact all customers. When applicable, it includes changes to functionality that were made to resolve customer-specific issues and that apply to all Tenovos users.

Unless otherwise stated, the availability of each update is as follows:

  • UAT: August 08, 2024
  • Production: August 14, 2024
  • Availability: All Enterprise DAM customers

Tenovos Connect​

Tenovos Connect customers can now benefit from Role Based Access Control (RBAC) within Tenovos Connect. This product update removes the need for the "Tenovos Connect" role privilege and allows administrative users to assign an available user license for Tenovos Connect to specific user accounts.

Tenovos Connect is now managed as a system Entitlement rather than a role privilege.

This update also includes UI changes to the User Details screen (accessed from Admin > Security > Users > Create New User and > Admin > Security > Users >Edit). Embedded help provides detailed information about each role available within Tenovos Connect and includes the access that each role provides.

Additional improvements were made to the Tenovos Connect navigation pages which now include Tenovos Recipes. This page allows quick access to Tenovos integration recipes that have been created by Tenovos. It highlights shared recipes that our entire customer community can leverage where Tenovos is part of the integration.

Also available is a new Connector SDK option on the Tools menu. This allows customers (with the appropriate Tenovos Connect role) access to development tools for building custom connectors.

Other Enhancements and Quality Improvements​

  • Stability and performance improvements were made to database queries.
  • Upgrades were performed on core system technologies.
  • Resolved issues causing false entitlement errors.
  • Resolved an issue in the UI to reposition the kebab menu on the Collections page.
