Product Update

Production: May 27, 2025​

This Product Update provides a summary of changes and enhancements to the existing application that impact all customers. When applicable, it includes changes to functionality that were made to resolve customer-specific issues and that apply to all Tenovos users.

Unless otherwise stated, the availability of each update is as follows:

General UI Updates​

Availability: All Enterprise DAM customers

We've updated our system font family to Inter, a modern typeface designed specifically for user interfaces. Inter is optimized for legibility on screens, with carefully crafted letterforms and generous spacing that improve readability at small sizes. Its support for a wide range of characters and accessibility-focused design ensures a more consistent and inclusive experience across our application. This update helps make our application easier to navigate and more visually consistent for all users.

Versioning​

Availability: All Enterprise DAM customers

  • A change was made to make the 'Asset Versioning' action less restrictive. Previously, in order to create/promote an asset version, the user needed to be assigned to a user role that had both the 'Version' and 'Upload' role privilege. Users now only need the 'Version' role privilege in order to create/promote an asset version.

Search and Filtering​

Availability: All Enterprise DAM customers

  • Based on increasing demand from users, we are happy to announce that a new search functionality has been added to the top of the filter menu, enabling users to easily search across all asset versions, not just the latest version of the asset. This filter item is called 'Search Versions' and has a singular value called 'Include Versions', which acts as a toggle to enable/disable whether all asset versions should be included in your search. By default, 'Include Versions' will be unselected.

    • When 'Include Versions' is unselected, search will function as it always has and will only bring back the latest asset version that matches the search criteria.
    • When 'Include Versions' is selected, search will function differently than it used to and will return all assets that match the search criteria, regardless of asset version.

  • A new filter has been made available that allows users to easily identify assets that have relationships, as well as assets that do not have relationships. This filter is called 'Asset Relationships', and can be found in your gallery filter menu.

[Beta] Home Page​

Availability: All Enterprise DAM customers as a Beta feature

The following change has been made to the New Home Page.

  • The visibility of the welcome message and associated dynamic button on the new home page has now been made configurable.

    • To disable the welcome message on the new home page:
      1. Navigate to Admin
      2. Click into Configurations > Page Layout
      3. Within the 'Home Page Configuration' settings, toggle off the switch located to the right of 'Show Welcome Message on Home Page'.

3D Objects​

Availability: All Enterprise DAM customers using 3D Object Viewer

  • Previously an option within the 3D viewer 'settings', the toggle for light and dark mode is now accessible in the top right-hand corner of the object viewer.

Enhancements and Quality Improvements​

  • Resolved an issue where certain controlled vocabulary values would not populate in typeahead when searching for content.
  • Resolved an issue where some saved searches would not load in Story Blocks.
  • Resolved an issue where Saved Searches in the 'Shared with Me' tab were not loading for some users.
  • Resolved an issue where the 'Collections' tab on the new home page was showing even when the 'Show Collections on Home Page' configuration was disabled.
  • Resolved an issue where users were unable to zoom assets to full page display on the asset details page.
  • Resolved an issue where UI elements within Rights Management were not responsive.
  • Resolved an issue where the session timeout configuration was not being respected.
  • Resolved an issue where some .psd files had inaccurately large image previews.
  • Resolved an issue where line breaks entered in a bulk operations sheet were not being respected on the asset details page.
  • Resolved an issue where tiles and tile sections were appearing out of order when a large amount of tiles were available to the user.
