Product Update

Production: October 17, 2024​

This Product Update provides a summary of changes and enhancements to the existing application that impact all customers. When applicable, it includes changes to functionality that were made to resolve customer-specific issues and that apply to all Tenovos users.

Unless otherwise stated, the availability of each update is as follows:

  • UAT: October 14, 2024
  • Production: October 17, 2024
  • Availability: All Enterprise DAM customers

As a reminder, all features introduced in Beta are time-bound and will remain accessible for up to 30 days once the feature becomes generally available. After this period, continued use will require the appropriate subscription entitlement.

Creative Editor​

Availability: Available as a subscription add-on

With the Creative Editor now generally available to all Tenovos customers, please note that this feature requires a subscription add-on for ongoing access. Make sure to check your current subscription and contact Customer Success to upgrade if necessary to keep using the Creative Editor beyond the 30-day period.

The following UX Updates have been made to Creative Editor:

  • "Video," "Stroke," and "Shadow" menu options have been removed when viewing a video asset in Creative Editor.

    NOTE: "Stroke" and "Shadow" options are still available when editing text overlays.

  • As part of this product update, Creative Editor will use a new rendition, called ImagePreviewExtraLarge, for image files. The ImagePreviewExtraLarge rendition has maximum dimensions of 5000x5000 pixels.

    This rendition will only be generated for customers who have the Creative Editor feature entitlement. Customers who have Creative Editor as an enabled feature entitlement will see this rendition returned in the API response for the following endpoints:

    • GET /asset/{id}
    • GET /assets/asset/{id} (v1.5)
    • GET /asset/{id}/latest
    • GET /asset/{id}/version
    • POST /asset/scan
    • POST /search (v1.5)
    • POST /search/keyword

Enhancements and Quality Improvements​

  • Resolved an issue where Creative Editor could not be opened when all required fields on the asset were completed.

  • Resolved an issue where the Webhooks page in the Admin UI would refresh when navigating to a different browser tab.

  • Resolved an issue where API requests made to the /search/keyword endpoint would return a 404 error code when no assets were found against the provided search term.

  • Updates were made to increase performance of retrieving filter values.

  • Updates were made to simplify the enablement of the Tenovos Connect feature.
