Jobs center

The Jobs center displays a list of your Tenovos processing requests and their status—In Progress, Validating, Complete, or Failed. The information is specific to you and does not include the jobs of other Tenovos users.

Depending on the completed job type, your available actions are View Results, Save Report, or Save an exported file.

Tenovos Jobs center:

Requests processed through the Jobs center

The following Tenovos requests are processed through the Jobs center.

• Asset downloads. Asset download requests that you submit using the Download Selected or Download All options. They are available in the Content gallery, collections, and the Cart.

• Bulk operations. Requests to complete Tenovos bulk operations which include exporting metadata, creating asset versions, editing metadata, and uploading assets in bulk.

• Collections. A request to Download Selected assets in a collection or Download All.

• Metadata. Bulk edit or export asset metadata in a Collection, the Cart, or the Content gallery.

• Transformations. Requests that you submit using the Transformations option. It allows you to download transformed or original assets. After processing in the Jobs center is completed, you can save a ZIP file containing the requested assets.

• YouTube publishing. YouTube video asset publication requests. When you publish a YouTube video asset, you submit a job request to send the source video directly to YouTube. The Jobs center displays the publication status of In Progress, Failed, or Succeeded. You can View Results to review information about the asset publication.

• Adobe InDesign assets. A request to download an InDesign INDD file and all its linked assets.

• Getty image downloads. A request to download selected Getty images.

Check the status of a job request

The Jobs center displays a list of your Tenovos processing requests and their status. The information is specific to you and does not include the jobs of other Tenovos users.

To check the status of a job request, in the navigation bar, click Jobs to open the Jobs center.

The Jobs center presents the following information about each request:

• Name. The job name.
• Type. The job request type. For example, asset download or bulk metadata edit.
• Status. The job status. Includes In Progress, Validating, Complete, or Failed.
• Created Date. The date and time the job was submitted.
• Action. The action available to you. Includes View Results, Save Report, Failed, Expired, and Save.

Job types

In the Jobs center, the Type column displays the type of Tenovos processing request. They include:

• Asset downloads:

• Bulk operations:
  • Bulk Operation: Metadata Export
  • Bulk Operation: Process
  • Bulk Operation: Validation
• Collection downloads:
  • Download: Collection
    NOTE: This job type occurs when you are viewing a collection and choose to Download All. When you download selected assets from a collection, the job type is Asset-Download.

Job statuses

In the Jobs center, the Status column informs you of the progress of your job request. They include:

• In Progress. The request is being processed.
• Validating. The request is being checked for issues.
• Complete. The request is successful.
• Failed. The request has failed.

Job actions

In the Jobs center, the Action column displays notifications or allows you to proceed to the next step of your request, for example, View Results or Save Report. The actions include:

• In Progress. Notification only. The job is being processed. Actions are not yet available.
• View Results. Opens the Bulk Operation Summary which lists the total number of assets ready for upload or blocked by invalid data. To use this action, you must have the Allow Bulk Ingest privilege.
• Save Report. Presented after the bulk asset upload or metadata edit is complete. The report lists any assets that cannot be uploaded or updated and the reason the attempt was unsuccessful. To use this action, you must have the Allow Bulk Ingest privilege.
• Failed. Notification only. The job was unsuccessful.
• Expired. Notification only. The job is older than 7 days and is no longer available.
• Save. Downloads the Excel file of metadata for metadata exports and when creating asset versions.
