Jobs Page

The Jobs center displays a list of your Tenovos processing requests and their status—In Progress, Validating, Complete, Completed with Errors, or Failed. The information is specific to you and does not include the jobs of other Tenovos users.

Depending on the completed job type, your available actions are Download and exported file, or Proceed with the next step of your job.

Requests processed through the Jobs center​

The following Tenovos requests are processed through the Jobs center.

Check the status of a job request​

The Jobs center displays a list of your Tenovos processing requests and their status. The information is specific to you and does not include the jobs of other Tenovos users.

To check the status of a job request, in the navigation bar, click Jobs to open the Jobs center.

The Jobs center presents the following information about each request:

  • Name. The job name.
  • Type. The job request type. For example, asset download or bulk metadata edit.
  • Status. The job status. Includes In Progress, Validating, Complete, Completed with Errors, or Failed.
  • Created Date. The date the job was submitted.
  • Created Time. The time the job was submitted.
  • Results. The action available to you. Includes navigating to a new page (ie, bulk ops validation), downloading the results of a job (ie, collection download) or no results.

Job types​

In the Jobs center, the Type column displays the type of Tenovos processing request. They include:

  • Asset downloads:
    • Asset Download
  • Bulk operations:
    • Bulk Operation: Metadata Export
    • Bulk Operation: Process
    • Bulk Operation: Validation
  • Collection downloads:
    • Download: Collection
      NOTE: This job type occurs when you are viewing a collection and choose to Download All. When you download selected assets from a collection, the job type is Asset-Download.

    • Share Asset Transformation
    • Download Asset Transformation
    • Asset-Transformation
  • Adobe InDesign assets:
    • Asset-Download
  • Getty images:
    • Getty-Bulk-Download
  • YouTube publishing:
    • Publish Asset Externally

Job statuses​

In the Jobs center, the Status column informs you of the progress of your job request. They include:

  • In Progress. The request is being processed.
  • Validating. The request is being checked for issues.
  • Complete. The request is successful.
  • Completed with Errors. The request has completed and was partially successful. Clicking this status will open up a side panel to give better visibility into the job errors, with an option to download the error report.
  • Failed. The request has failed.

Job results​

In the Jobs center, the Results column displays icons that represent actions that can be taken from a job. The actions include:

  • Navigating to the Next Step. Represented by a right-pointing chevron in the 'Results' column, this allows you to proceed with the next step of your job and will direct you to a new page, such as Bulk Ops Validation.
  • Download. Represented by a download icon, this action downloads a zip file containing the output of the job, such as a collection download.
  • No Action Needed. Represented by a dash icon, this indicates that no further action is needed for this job.

Job errors panel​

A job with a status of Completed with Errors indicates that the job completed, but there are errors that occured while the job was processing. To view the errors that occured with the job, users can click the Completed with Errors pill, which will surface the Job Errors Panel.

  • 2a. File Name and Asset ID of the asset in the error report.
  • 2b. Reason why there was an error with this asset in this job.
