You can download assets from various locations within Tenovos, including the Content gallery, Collections, Cart, and Asset Details page, as well as from internal and external shares. Depending on your location in Tenovos and your permissions, you can choose to download individual assets or multiple assets at once.

Download a single asset: When you select Download from an asset's context menu or its asset details, it is saved to your browser's default downloads folder (usually the Downloads folder).

Download Selected or Download All: These requests are processed through the Jobs Center. Once the Status shows as "Complete," you can save the ZIP file to your system.

Download assets from the Content gallery​

You can download assets if you have the required permissions. If the download option is not available, you do not have permission to download those assets.

To download assets from the Content gallery:

  1. In the Content gallery, select the assets to download. You can Download a single asset or Download Selected:
    • Download a single asset. Open the asset's context menu and click Download. The Save dialog box is displayed. Save the asset to the required location.
    • Download Selected. Select the assets to download. In the page task bar, click Download Selected. Tenovos begins processing your request.
      NOTE: The page task bar is displayed after you select one or more assets.
  2. If you chose to Download Selected, open the Jobscenter, and locate the request. Once the Status shows as "Complete," you can Save the ZIP file to your system.

Download an asset from its Asset Details screen​

You can easily download an asset when viewing its Asset Details.

To download an asset from its Asset Details screen:

  1. Click the asset preview to open its Asset Details screen.
  2. Click Download. The Save dialog box is displayed.
  3. Save the asset to the required location.

Download assets from a collection​

You can download assets from your Private collections and any Shared collections you have permission to access.

To download assets from a collection:

  1. In the Collections page, open the collection. You can Download a single asset, Download Selected or Download All:
    • Download a single asset. Open the asset's context menu and click Download. The Save dialog box is displayed. Save the asset to the required location.
    • Download Selected. Select the assets to download. In the page task bar, click Download Selected. Tenovos begins processing your request.
      NOTE: The page task bar is displayed after you select one or more assets.
    • Download All. In the page task bar, click Download All. Tenovos begins processing your request.
  2. If you chose to Download Selected or Download All, open the Jobs center, and locate the request. Once the Status shows as "Complete," you can Save the ZIP file to your system. For more information about collections, see Collections.

Download assets from the Cart​

When downloading assets from the Cart, you can Download a single asset, Download Selected or Download All:

To download assets from the Cart:

  1. Select one or more assets in the Cart. You can Download a single asset, Download Selected or Download All:
    • Download a single asset. Open the asset's context menu and click Download. The Save dialog box is displayed. Save the asset to the required location.
    • Download Selected. Select the assets to download. In the page task bar, click Download Selected. Tenovos begins processing your request.
      NOTE: The page task bar is displayed after you select one or more assets.
    • Download All. In the page task bar, click Download All. Tenovos begins processing your request.
  2. If you chose to Download Selected or Download All, open the Jobs center, and locate the request. Once the Status shows as "Complete," you can Save the ZIP file to your system. For more information about the cart, see Tenovos Cart.

Download assets from an external share​

When assets are shared with you externally, you'll receive an email with a link to download the assets.

To download assets from an external share:

  1. Find the email containing the share link. If it was sent recently, it may take a few moments to appear in your inbox.
    If you don’t see the email, check your spam folder.
  2. Follow the instructions in the email to download the assets as a ZIP file. For more information on sharing assets externally, click here.

Download assets from an internal share​

When assets are shared with you internally, you'll receive an email or message with a link to view them in Tenovos. Credentialed users can click the link to access the assets. To download them, follow the same steps as outlined in Download assets from the Content gallery
